In my own words
You only get one shot at this game we call life- figure out what YOU want to do with it. Stop asking yourself what you think you should do. Stop worrying what would look good, or what your parents might like you to do, or society, or your friends.
The next time you're faced with a decision about which way to go, instead of asking yourself what would be "the most sensible thing to do" based on other people's advice- try asking yourself, "Which choice would give me the best memories and experiences?" Because these are all you'll be left with in the end, and these are the only things you can take with you everywhere you go. The experiences we pass through are what truly make us who we are, and they're the only thing we carry with us always.
Imagine you're last day is tomorrow. What kind of life would you have rather lived? What kind of person would you have rather been? Now live it! |
The Meaning Of Life...
for me, is to shift your focus from getting, to giving.
If you walk through life, focussed on getting something from every situation, every interaction, and every person that you meet, I guarantee you that you are going to be severly dissappointment, and miserable, for the rest of your life, period.
For all of the things that you are trying to get from others, learn to find them within yourself, and then give them out. |
