In my own words
I'm a student at Glasgow Uni studying Nursing (after a year of travelling and then- unfortunately- a year of Biomedical Sciences). I'm in 2nd year and loving my course, even the 5am starts to get to a ward don't seem that bad. I'm single at the moment which I thought wouldn't be much fun but I'm actually quite enjoying. Who knows what the summer will bring... I love going out, although I must say that the nightlife in Edinburgh is much more chilled out than in Glasgow. I like The Little Mermaid, Audioslave and Sambuca. Believe it or not, they all mix nicely. Sometimes I get an overwhelming urge to hibernate. A good DVD boxset and my duvet keep me happy for hours on end. Especially if I'm being kept company by a bottle of red wine and a nice attentive man. In A Perfect World...
There would be an alcohol limit on dancing in clubs. Slightly tipsy= good times. Completely wasted= a very sore ankle in the morning and extremely embarrasing facebook tags. Trust me, I've tested the theory. Luckily it only needs to be tested once (or possibly 30 times) to learn my lesson. |
