Karen Hartstein, raised in St. Louis, Missouri, was fortunate enough to be blessed with a lot of natural athletic skill. Living in St. Louis Missouri with four other siblings, Karen Hartstein was always the most athletic out of her siblings, and liked sports the most. Karens father is an exceptionally skilled tennis and ping pong player which ignited Karens athletic ability as well as worked for her reach a level of expertise difficult by most.
Growing up, Karen Hartstein always wanted to be a professional tennis player. Though many of her friends and fans said that she would have been able to play tennis at a college or even professional level, she decided to stay closer to home for school and ended up playing on an intramural team instead.
