i am a Precious child, my daddys been sent to fight, the only place i'll see him is in my dreams tonite. He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track, i may be sad, but i am proud, my daddys got your back. i am a caring daughter, my dad has gone to war, my mind is filled with worries i have never known before. Everyday i try and keep my thoughts from turning black, i may be scared but i am proud, my dads got your back. i am a strong and loving daughter , with a dad soon to go, there are times im terrified in a way most never know, i bite my lip and force a smile as i watch my father pack, my heart may break, but i am proud, my fathers got your back. and he is a soilder, serving proudly, standing tall. he fights for freedom, yours and mine, by answering his call. he does his job while knowing the thanks it sometimes lacks. say a prayer that he'll come home-its him whos got your back. |
