In my own words
well, i spend my day driving around this fair country, with a supernatural ability to find traffic jams on the quietest country roads, usually whilst juggling the nineteen bleeping bits of technology that are supposed to make my life easier. this means that i know and enjoy numerous choice phrases in old anglo-saxon, and can gesture insultingly to more than one driver at once, all whilst changing the station on the radio.
anyway, this is after 12 years of working in music shops, which means that i have sold far too many james blunt cds, which means a particularly tuneless hell is waiting for me when i die. and the stereophonics will be playing next door.
so, here i am, desperately seeking intelligent or interesting conversation. not as easy as it sounds, perhaps, but hope springs eternal. |
