I think too much about things that shouldn't really matter.
I love and listen, carefully but quickly.
I'm either talking really quickly, or i'm not talking at all.
I like: 1960's pop art. Eating with chopsticks. Reading when not drowning in University-reading. Watching art-house films. 'That's what she said' jokes. Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. Oversized sunglasses. Zooey Deschanel's singing voice. Vintage. Hip bones. Sitting in a cafe and watching time go by.
I don't like: Cheats and liars. People who don't get british comedy. Racists and homophobes. Being a bad friend. Ignorant british tourists. 'Political correctness'. Getting my heels stuck in the pavement.
I'm afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning. |
